Inspired by the works of Wynton Marsalis and Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, The Liam Escame Septet aims to push the boundaries of programmatic small-group jazz, featuring Escame’s own original compositions and reinterpretations of legendary jazz works.
Liam Escame With Strings
Inspired by the orchestral works found in Charlie Parker with Strings, Liam Escame with Strings combines the traditional jazz quartet with the orchestral backbone of a string section to provide a new spin on familiar styles with new compositions.
The “Pacific Suite”
“In February 2025, I had the opportunity to premiere a new work of mine entitled “Pacific Suite”. While taking in the scenery on my many flights to and from the Pacific North-West, I became inspired to write a series of pieces that provide a sonic vignette of the area’s scenic beauty.”
